hi guys,
just returned from a trip to duquesa, i should have completed on thursday the 10th Jan, got there to find that the developer has cancelled until this friday the 18th. Managed to gain access to my apartment and have a few issues:-
- the decor looked a little 'tired' the woodwork on the balcony needed re-doing and other bits and piece's
- there were no light fittings, just wires hangin from the ceiling
I've relayed this to my abogado, he informs me that the developer will have a team putting right the snags as they are found at they will be on site from friday. Follwing discussion's with my abagado i've decided to complete on friday (if it happen's!!!!). Reason being he's negotiated a 3% discount and the obligitory lcd tv. I reason that the 3% discount will hopefully outweigh potential snagging costs (hopefully none). Generally though the complex is looking kind of 7 out of 10. There are several 'bits' that need re-decorating or loose stones that need re-pointing.
My abagado also points out that because i'll be one of the 1st to complete all the snags should be quickly rectified. I suppose someone needs to push through and see how it goes.

Hi Mike
I'm in Phase 4 but took a few photos in October (see Photos 62909 and 488541) as a friend is hoping to complete in Block 7 (he has the ground floor corner one at the bottom end near the car entrance) - it was all pretty much complete then with the video door entry even in place, and looked good, but there have been a few comments lately that a few things need sorting.
Thanks to Pdrich for the valuation etc, all positive comments are great and looking forward to hearing things starting to move again on Phase 4 (not demolition work I trust!)

Not a lot has happened for a long time. We visited our apartment in Oct 06 and it looked superb and virtually ready to move into. Our next visit was in March 07 when the whole site was locked up, but we managed to sneak a look when the security guard popped in to Mercadona and it still looked good.
Last week, the gardens were not so good as the heavy rains and storms have taken their toll. The gates and iron fences are looking rather rusty and in need of some serious cleaning. Our apartment was not as clean as we remember it in 06 but we were told that the rectification team had not started on Block 7 yet. Apart from a serious drainage problem on our rear terrace, there is not too much work to do.
