We have been given a date in January to complete.  If we choose to do so we will receive a TV from the developer.

Now I have to decide if I really want to.

Of course you want to Pdrich!! get in there. you've waited so long, as have we all.  just make sure everything is perfect and tell them you want a big 52" plasma putting in.

Which block are you in again i can't remember and when in january have they given you.  ooo, hope i hear soon too.   anybody else heard anything yet? Surely it'll be a few that have heard.

 Good news Pdrich congratulations, I take it you are now accepting that the licence has been issued??

I believe you must be the first to be invited to complete? I have heard nothing and I don't think anyone on ML has mentioned finalised completion dates yet.  It must have been your 'Doubting Thomas' feelings about the licence, maybe Prienesur do read this forum and the ML forum. You are the chosen one, well done!  Don't forget to keep us all informed on how it all goes, I suppose it is a rather strange feeling after all this time?

We have a standing joke here concerning the incoming daily Newark flight which is always always late, and we have said that if we hear that the flight is on time, then we will get notification re completion.

Quess what, yesterday morning it was ten minutes early. We were stunned.

And then The Chosen One gets word. Scary or what............

Just recieved email we are on for the 17Jan cant believe it ,I feel a beer or two coming on to celebrate,

bum news about Peps valuation though,and no mention of any compen not even a bloody television but we are not the chosen one

That valuation is poor, Suzanne, a lot less than what I would have thought

Banks/Building Societies are obviously playing it very very safe in today's market, so I woudn't get depressed over it.

Ours was valued at €277K last Dec 06 so that's looking well optimistic now.

Saying that, and playing the philospher, if we had all in deed completed last year when expected, we would all have been in our apartments at a price that we were happy with.

I think we need at least three valuations just to see if your valuation was a particular poor one or is something more generic.

I received this from my solicitor yesterday:

No mention of my tele , tight buggers I bet the solicitor is keeping it for himself! 

I have a copy of the certificate and it states that blocks 4,5,6,7,11 & 12 have the licence.  My solicitor also informs me that it is now too late to pull out so that decision has been made for us. A valuation of 220 will suit me fine.

I should have told you they are only giving away 1 TV .

Oh the excitment of the next part of the journey.  And the best bit is the flights are so low at that time of year, roll on 2008! 

Don't forget Pdrich to order the complete Sky packagel as I like the movies in the afternoon and of course I need somewhere to watch my beloved Arsenal, so pleased that you are the chosen one!!!    What are your sofa's like? I am partial to a little luxury.

If anyone has an up-to-date valuation on a ground floor corner unit I would be very appreciative. A PM would be fine if you are more comfortable with that.

We are now concerned that our valuation might be below our purchase price, which is a non runner in our view. We can live with it there or there abouts.

The Licence for Block 10 has not been granted yet, so we have to make a decision before it is, hence the request.

Hi all

Can anybody give us some indication of what we should ask our solicitors to insist on     Like sky tv dishes in place on the roof and apartments are wired up ready for tuning in. Complete cleaning of apartments ready to move into including windows etc.For some reason I cant think straight there must be a lot morethings to ask,please help.

Also have Gerens indicated that they will want bank details for the community fees on signing deeds.this seems a tad previous on there part ,I will have to check that one out .
