Anyone run a market stall?

I have been in Arenal Duquesa in September but I was not allowed to view my apartment no even the show apartment. I told my solicitor to ask for my deposit as I see this complex abandoned and negleted by the constructors. They dont want to know, even refused to acept the letter asking for it. It worry me that nobody is working on the site, I asked one of the guys in the office why everything was paralised and he answered " there is no rush". For your information our deposit is not guaranteed by any bank according to my solicitor. Banco Andalucia did not guarantee any monies, so we are at the merci of Arenal Duquesa.

There are several people from this web site that have had their money refunded and if your contract was set up correctly you should have a bankers guarantee. I certainly have and I believe the majority have the guarantee in place. I strong talk with your lawyer is advised!
On your other point I am sure members who have been over in the last month have reported a return to work on the site.

I am asking for my deposit back.  I paid 30% as usual and have claimed on the bank guarantee.  The interst is 4% but my question to anyone who knows is, should the 4% be applied to the whole time since the deposit was placed which in my case is over 4 years.  Thanks

Yes your interest is per annum. It is not a set 4% it will vary over the amount of time your money has been deposited. However, it will probably average out at about 4% per annum but your solicitor will be able to obtain the exact figures for you.

Many thanks.  I wish you all the best.  I think the development will come good in the next few years as it is all complete.  We do not have the time to wait and have bought another in Alcaidesa.
