Once completion takes place, how long is it before we can sack  this management company and appoint one that we all prefer? Any thoughts?

As I understood it, Gerens have only been appointed to carry through the development to Licence Of First Occupation, then presumably another company will be appointed to run the day to day management of the complex. (Usually nominated by the developer)

That lasts to the first Community Owners AGM, where a decision is then taken whether to carry on or appoint a new management company of our choice.

After much soul searching my gut feeling is telling me to 'get out'. I was leaning towards this decision then a telephone conversation with my furniture pack lady has pushed me further that way. She painted a pretty dismal picture of what is happening down there and as she does not have a hidden agenda, in fact she will of course miss out on a good sale, I have taken what she has said on board. Add this to the fact that I have totally lost confidence in the developers and this appears to be pushing me one way only. No final decision yet but I am heading towards cancellation.

Don't get down Spurs won the weekend look on the bright side of life, I know it was only Derby but at least you are not bottom of the league now, keep your spirits up, well that is until the 26th .  Don't let the football cloud your judgement.  You may need the apartment to escape.
