Has anyone tried "Furniture Express?" I've just been checking them out and their packages seems more reasonable than the company we were thinking of going with. I wondered if perhaps the quality was not so good. Would love to hear from anyone who's seen the actual furniture. Margo

We saw it late last year and it appears quite reasonable. The only negative was the beds, but they seem happy enough to upgrade. We would probably go for leather sofas as well as we hope to rent out.

when i checked out furniture express in detail there was quite a lot less in thier package. i.e. only 4 of things instead of 6 or 8 and extra items you get included (accessories and some kitchen equipment) weren;t in theirs either. just check in detail what is included in the packs. i almost went with them but went with somebody else in the end. i asked for a complete list with prices and took of stuff like towels and bedding as i thought some of the prices were extremely high for little things. i've been buying it all over here to take over in a case for a 10th of the cost and better quality. some packages are charging 150 euros for a picture or a mirror, nik naks that i'm sure will be pleasurable to buy around the shops over there for half the price and not essential when you get there like the bigger items. they have to take it off if you don't want it and you can save a great chunk by doing this with a detailed list from them first

We looked at furniture packs and found them costly, mainly due to the odds and sods adding up,depends how much of a hurry you are in, Ikea is in savilla and dont forget all the sales are on in January.
