yeah folks, well it seems Ainhoa couldn't hack it either. We're waiting for a reply to messages too. Has anyone yet heard when the audit is to end, that is of course if there was ever one in the first place. The whole thing stinks, it's one fob off after another. 5 years 3 months now since we reserved.

Hi all
Bad news this is the letter we received yesterday from our solicitor in Spain looks as tho its the end dont fancy throwing 1000s of euros at a court case just to win a hollow victory just wish we had acted 6 months ago when we were told they were going to go bankrupt
Dear Mr &Mrs Dyson:
We want to inform you that we have news of URBASA (the builder) and we know very soon Urbasa is going to declare in temporary receivership or bankruptcy.
WE have a client who has presented a claim in front of the courts and we have found some assets to pay the money that Urbasa owes him.
We recommend you present as soon as possible the claim in front of the courts because if you are late much more it is possible you can´t find assets or money to attend your claims.
Please, contact to us as soon as possible. We will try to lend you all possible assistance in obtaining a full refund from the builder

its not looking good - looks like urbasa have been lieing to us for a long time - lets hope we can get somert back if we cant get our apartments
dont know were you all go from here folks i suppose its wait and see what happens or take urbasa to court the choice can only be made by you
we only have these two options now i suppose
do you want to spend more money on court costs and maybe lose that as well or maybe get your money back ?
can you afford to lose the money you have paid to urbasa ?
can we get our apartments if someone else takes over because we have our contracts ?
ie ( the bank ) i suppose the bank wouldnt just want a 60% finished building, I bet they would rather have there cash back as well
i personally think there will be a lot more to this nightmare
lets hope the building gets finished off and we can all have a laugh bout this in spain
speak to you all soon

Hi All
Similar information to which we have received, tried to get confirmation before we posted, our source is sticking by the story as at 4pm today. It could be and I hope this is the case that solicitors are touting for business as the cost of litigation would be 10% of monies recovered paid to the solicitor this is Spanish law plus IVA and 6-800 euros prosecution costs, for us this will be about 3,400 euros god knows what we are going to do, we know Urbasa have assets ie land and part built property but unfortunately there are more than us that are going to be affected by this, speaking to an English solicitor today for his slant on it he has said we will probably be unsecured creditors with the banks having security against the assets.
Repeat we have had nothing official as yet its just the say so of solicitors in Spain. We will be in touch with our solicitor in Spain on Monday if we find out anything concrete we will post immediately.
