Driving age in spain

Hi Donna,

We are amongst the last to purchase on Mirador..Nov. 23rd....and were told April 30th for completion when we signed. I have just checked that date with our agent today (Masa International) and been told by our personal assistant..that this date still stands.

 According to her Email..the building work will end by this date. Then the authorities have to inspect everything..and issue the appropriate documentation..have the electrics & water connected. At which time, if all is in order..we will receive a letter of completion and a form to fill in with details of our expected arrival to deal with the signing of the deeds etc.

We are going over on Saturday, for a week.  . I will try to get an update on this. And see if it is a definite date..

Hello Everyone,

We have just returned from an inspection trip to Mirador..and spent a number of days on the site..both on our own and escorted. The development  is looking fantastic..and the view better than ever.

There has been tremendous progress since our last visit..& even since the last posted photos..but there is still a lot of work to be completed. Especially to the front row of apts. We were able to go inside on sunday & walk around this row....as the doors were not in place. Lots of rubble inside..painting.& finishing work to be done. bathrooms to be fitted ..etc. But they are working flat out.

The pool is taking shape..  During the week they started adding the edging...where you sit ..and clearing the surrounding area.  The walls around the apts..lining the path & pool area.. have been rendered & painted this week.  And a lot of the paths have been cleared & tiles washed down..excess building material & rubbish removed. A general tidying up has started. The globe lamps on the walls of the apts...lining the paths..came on at 7pm to our delight. They really look lovely. It was very exciting to see the area  all lit up.

A full team of workers are on site daily..and working quite late into the evening.  And yesterday we  called in during siesta time..and were allowed an hour in our  own apt to wander.   They had cut out our kitchen wall as requested...but not added the additional  wardrobe yet.   All Our doors were  in place..wooden architraves....& bathrooms fitted. All windows operational..& shutters in place. During that time..several women reported for work..apparently to clean up those apts nearing completion. so it is all hands on deck.

Carlos... in the site office of Mirador..is expecting the end of March... to early April... for completion. This is the end date of building.  As mentioned in the post above... all the appropriate papers must also be signed by the authorities..before banks will release any mortgage money..or habitation licenses can be issued. So it is hard to give an exact date. But we did see 2 gentlemen checking all the electrics..and making notes.. We also spoke with MAsa again.. who are sticking with a later date in April..but we are keeping an open mind!!   

.ps...Not wishing to be negative....but as the possibility of burglars has been mentioned on another thread....we have already had grafitti added to our play area in the lovely park opposite the development.  That in itself would not be so serious...but the nature of it is. A swastika..& Star of David....sprayed onto the childrens'  slide.  I was extremely saddened to see it...and hope it will be cleaned. There was no one around to mention it to at the time. I am not sure who is responsible for the park. Anyone know the answer?
