How apt that the person starting this thread should be called "clippy", or am I the only one to have noticed the relevance?
Know that during the summer months, there is a vehicle which resembles a "train engine and carriages" which travels along the road past Consum/Wok Buffet and continues through Garrucha into Mojacar (along the sea-front/promenade), past the Irish Rover and other bars/restaurants dropping off at appropriate points and when it reaches its destination point (The new hotel/apartments at the very end of the Mojacar Playa), it turns around and comes back.
You can get tickets from the information booth across from the shopping centre/precinct at the Mojacar roundabout (next to the bookstall).
Might not be a regular bus service, but could be fun if you have children or you've rediscovered your inner child!!
Have heard that there are plans for this mode of transport to come up to Thalassa, which would be good for those people contemplating renting their accommodation during the summer months, as the biggest criticism is that you have to have a car for nights out and taxi services are woefully inadequate.
If I can find out more, I will post on this site.

Lorraine Braid.
