Hi Karen
there is no telephone or broadband access here, nor is there any postal service. I have a vodafone USB modem which is excellent. It is on an 18 month contract and costs 49 Euro per month. If you don't live here, well you can bring your USB modem from the UK but of course it costs more to use. There is an internet cafe in San Pedro which has WiFi and is free to use if you take a laptop pc with you, otherwise they charge minimally to use their desktop pcs. Caroline at the office told me that there won't be any telephone or postal service until there are more people living here permanentaly - currently there are five of us that I know of. I have my mail delivered to a post office box at the internet cafe in San Pedro.

Hi
Can anyone tell me if landline telephones and ADSL are available now, I see early last year this was not possible. Does anyone have a landline with ADSL (broadband)? Many thanks.

Thank you for replying, I am just waiting for eyeonspain to allow me access to my private messages so I can read them, does anyone know how to speed up this process?

Hi thea, sorry I dont understand your comment, I have received a notification to my email address that I have had a reply (private message) but when I click on that link I get the message Private Message Facility Not Active, I have submitted the request to see my messages and I get a message to say you will be contacted shortly but have not been yet. If I click on the link in the top right hand side of eyeonspain website I also get the same message. I have sent an email to eyeonspain support, but have not received a reply as yet and still cannot access private messages. Hope that clears things up for you.
