Advice required, Title / Deed Transfer

This company has been set up by an English couple who moved to Spain 3 or 4 years ago.  They own Polaris World properties too.

My viewing trip guide set up this company (I understand her husband works in the building trade and he carries out the building inspections).  I have not used but will definitely use this company when I need snagging services.

I contacted snagitmurcia.com last week.

I received an email from them with their details and then a couple of days ago Emma

called me on my mobile and explained the whole proceedure to me, which I must admit was

very helpful to me.  I don't know about you but I have to read too much paperwork sometimes,

so it is a refreshing change to talk to someone who is willing to spare the time and explain things.

Can anyone else recomend them or have used them? Please let me know. As I am seriously thinking of using them.

We will be using Snagmurcia as we know Emma & Co and think they will do a good job and save us having to visit to make sure the works are done.  We are also considering using Emma's father who is a finishing joiner to make doors for the recess in the 2 bed apartments.

I have just booked Emma of Snagit Murcia to do our snagging.  Very helpful, very efficient, sensible price too.

My soliciter has recommended inspecta homes. I'm thinking of going for them, as at £150 they also seem good value. Has anybody out there had dealings with them?

Just to let you know we have found out today that parador will be doing our snagging FREE as part of our owners club payment.

Do they mean that they will accompany you to do the snagging?  They are picking us from PW Head Office after we have collected our NIE numbers to take us to Condado to do the snagging - there was no mention of them doing it for us.  Unless it's because we are over there anyway.  That must be the first offer to do anything I've heard of from Parador Owners Club - we don't rate their Owners Club service to date but are reserving judgment until we get over there to complete and see how they shape up then!!

Hi when we was in Spain last week I asked Parador rep about snagging, as I am not sure if we will be able to go for completion. He informed us that a Parador rep will go around the property with us, accompanied by a Polaris rep and if we are not going out to complete ourselves they will do the snagging for us. No extra charge all part of membership.

Hi Payton and Mandy,

We have already asked Parador Owners Club about snagging we received an e-mail from them on the 5th May. They stated that a completions team member will be with us to HELP to do the snagging. Then they will take us to some Furniture warehouses. We anticipate using an agent for the snagging as we dont have to be present as they make TWO visits. Hope this dosen't make matters worse.

Since my last reply I have received a PM from PGM (sounds like a coded message!) He was with a parador rep on an  inspection tour to see how things were coming along. The parador rep told him that they would do the snagging with the members and when the second visit is needed  there is no need for the member to be present. darned confusing or what

It would be interesting to know the outcomes of snagging visits after you have done it or had it done.

It would be helpful to know:

• If you did it yourself or not
• How easy was it
• Standard of finish
• If you found much wrong
• Anything you would recommend others do
• Anything you think worth mentioning
