Seconded.  In one year I have found just one item in the DV post box.

Approximately  10 items have gone down the black hole.
I will be there tomorrow (Saturday) - it's a holiday ritual.

I will explain. A couple of weeks ago I went to the Post Office in Sabillanas. I requested mail for DV. The lady told me the mail had gone to AEA office in DV. The address was a new AEA address in DV. I went to this new address but no one there. I phoned AEA and given the response of, phone back in an hour. I did to be told the post was still in the post office. Back to the post office to be told no it has gone to the addess I gave you this morning!!!! At the time AEA had not moved to DV, and I don't know if they have moved yet. So I ask the question, "Has the post for DV been found". Also have AEA now moved to DV.

Hi Everyone

W've never found any post for us since it has been at the post office in Sabinillas which is a bit of a worry as when the post was in the little office in DV port we used to find a couple of pieces of mail on each visit.  It took a lot of looking as quite a lot of it was mis-filed.  I

Having seen Redcastle's post below I just ran across to the AEA office in DV.

The explained that all the post is now going to AEA.   They are about to open an office at DV (this will be sign posted).

The office is to open "as soon as possible".  It might open this week - Telephonica are connecting the phone this week (today maybe).

I enquired as to AEA policy on how long do they retain the post.   We are aware that the post office used to dispose of uncollected post after two months.
The lady at the AEA office was unsure of the policy on the retention period so I will write an email.   I would suggest tha twe need AEA to keep the post for up to 6 months.

I will look out for the AEA office on site this afternoon.

Is it 29691 or 29692?  Or is that just the port area?

Does DV actually have an address, ie road name at the top, or something?

I always just program 'Duquesa' into ours and it takes us to the road right up to el hacho hill or left into the port.  It should be easy enough to direct your guests from there.

Chris, go onto Google earth, pin point DV and give them the latitude and longitude, plus  your flat is about 140 meters ASL so that should get them there and to the correct floor.

Seriously I will try and find the full address, but a cut and paste of Google earth of the road up from the port to DV is a visual good map.

According to the Water Company  the  postal address is :-

Apartment  xxx  Bajo xxx

Urban Duquesa Village

29692 - Sabanillas (Manilva)

However according to my insurers the postal address is 29691

Very puzzling and AEA don't seem to know which is correct

All,

When looking through the post at the post office I noted that DV has at least  two postal codes.   It seems that your code will depend on which block you reside.

I'm sure that blocks 7 and 8  are postal code   29691 Manilva.  Not sure about the rest.
