Hi Guys,
Just back from Condado and found out a few interesting things:
1) DISNEY: Only a rumour but I guess a big one. Spoke to someone in Mazzaron and was told that Disneyland Spain may be ear marked for the Alhama/Mazzaron area of Murcia, Spain.
2) TOWN CENTRES: A PW employee told me that the town centres for both Jardines & Los Naranjos may be combined in the one area in the space behind the 2nd Phase of Penthouses. I was told that they may be doing this as this position is situated between the Jardines & Los Naranjos apartments. I mentioned that this seems strange as the main Oasis town centre would then be very close. I was then told that the Oasis town centre is a public town centre outwith any resort and the Jardines/Los Naranjos centres are private. This leads me to my 3rd point.
3) PRIVATE or PUBLIC: I hadn't realised that parts of Condado de Alhama are public. Each resort i.e Jardines, Los Naranjos, El Mirador, La Isla etc, all have there own security entry points and surounding fences. The main dual carriage-ways running round Condado and through the centre of Condado including Oasis, Sports, Schools etc are all public roads. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing yet but I guess it means at least the Oasis town centre will have a wider variaty of shops and restaurants not owned by PW.
4) PENTHOUSE SHOW HOME: We were told that a Los Naranjos Penthouse show home will be ready within a few weeks. Can't wait to see photos if anyone has a visit planned soon.
5) FRONT DOOR: This might be wrong but from recent pictures of the Penthouses has anyone else noticed that the front door looks WHITE?
6) LOS NARANJOS COMPLETION: Visited PW head office and spoke to Customer Services regards completion. I was told that Los Naranjos inc' Penthouses should be handed over before the end of this year!!
I got a few photos but nothing much different from those already posted. I did take a photo of the Ground Floor Jardines with external curtains and awning, which completely enclose the Ground Floor Patio creating a lovely private area. I'll download them on Monday.
Cheers, Iain
