For those not yet on the community website, I have emailed both BBVA and the Daily Mail, no response so far, but I live in hope. (not) 
I will keep digging, thought I might try the ripped off Brit bit with the Mail, (although I don`t want to upset my new neighbours in anyway) as they collaborated on the awards, it might be a good idea if others contacted them also.

I strongly suggest ALL British owners or Daily Mail readers email them with their concerns.

Hi everyone.

I  think I`m becoming obsessed with the spa. I have spoken to the people who give out the awards, KM submitted the plans and it was judged on the standard set out in the group for which it was entered. At the time of the awards being issued, the developer did not have to have started work on the project, so the awards a given for what was submitted and not for what is built. Therefore the developer can change the plans or design. The judges do not attend the site, the design can be changed, and the awards people do not need be told. Also KM did not want to put anything in the awards brochure or on the website. 
I have looked on the internet and found a possible way forward, We will need to get hold of a lawyer, and get them to request that the spa gets built, according to the plans which Noreen kindly sent around to those on the Rampton 100. If KM refuse, then we can as a community lodge a Detener, this is like a comment which is lodged with the town hall and with KM, it will make it very difficult, if not impossible for KM sell the remaining plots. It can be used as a last resort.
This will cost, but if we as a community all pay, (if the community think it`s worth it)  then it should not be too much. I feel we should get this onto the agenda for the meeting and get the ball rolling as time is important.

Hi Steve.
                       I agree with your proposal, we must get the whole  community to support it and then tackle Keymare head on but we must be sure of the facts. The planning authority will have a complete set of drawings put forward by Keymare and should allow the public to view them. Keymare should have prepared revised drawings for the single storey SPA which should have been lodged with the local builing inspectors.  We need someone with local knowledge of the planning and building regulations to help route out the relevant evidence.

Just got back and have to say extremely disapointed with spa.  Jaccuzi looked filthy and kids were under strict instructions not to swallow any of the water. My 8 year got  his first ever ear infection and can only assume it was from indoor pool again not particuraly clean.

Whole area far too hot and muggy to even consider using the gym equiptment - may as well have put it in a greenhouse!

Can anyone tell me what the run of shingle with showers at shin height is for???  - served no purpose to me whatsoever.

Am happy to join forces and fight for what we were lead to believe we would have what we have is currently in my opinion is not worth having.

The progress of any action to be taken by the community in respect of the spa facilities is to be discussed & agreed at the community meeting on the 14th June.

The spa closes on the 16th June for repairs to the swimming pool & the replacement of the pump. 

At this stage it is not known how long the facilities will be closed for but every effort will be made to ensure that KM complete the required work as soon as possible.

I think that by discussing what we may or may not do on this public forum we are in danger of telling KM how we might proceed and giving them the opportunity to close a few doors.  In my opinion the thoughts expressed here should only be posted on the Community's own Restricted Forum in which there is a n active thread on the Spa.  Let us not give our ammunition away.

A thought occurred to me this afternoon, after reading through this thread.

I agree that it is better to discuss issues relating to Thalassa on the community website rather than a public forum but in relation to showing our hand to Key Mare, why do you consider the VeraThalassa website to be a secure enough forum to discuss the spa but not EOS?

You have to remember that Key Mare are also legitimate owners of properties on Thalassa & as such, they may have joined the new forum & if they had, this would not be at all obvious. KM are very likely to be aware of the new website given that there were posters advertising it stuck up all over the complex last week.

              Therefore all our officials should have a list of owners ,blocks and numbers ,when an applicant applies and their email is checked against before activation by the web-master ,if it comes up a non -match or a block holding,the application is refused.

I think you may have missed my point though Ken.

The VeraThalassa website is an owners website & until all the properties are sold, Key Mare have a legitimate right to join.

Perhaps the site should be re-named the Residents Club.

KM may be owners but they are not residents.

When any forum is set up, surely the moderator has the right to refuse participation to any person/party considered to be unsuitable.

I do not subscribe to the view that KM have the right to join ,or is there a Spanish law which prevents the moderator from refusing them membership?

I have asked the administrators to clarify this point.

I don't think calling the Residents Club is the answer given that so few owners are actually resident, which puts many of us in exactly the same position as Key Mare.

I also don't know what would constitute an unsuitable applicant & on what grounds refusal could be given. 

I am not saying that it is right that KM could join the forum just that it may be possible for them to do so.

We will have to await a response from the administrators.

I do not believe that we should ask the administrators they have been appointed because of Keymare,and if Keymare provide us with the Spa that they promised during their marketing , answer emails,and complete their snagging targets,then they can join our Thalassa Community Forum Website,it has absolutely nothing to do with Keymare,and if some say it is ,accept my resignation.

Keymare have no right to join and if you doubt that fact as the community ,not the Administrators,we are a democratic community put it to the vote,put a poll on the website,but do not ask the organistion that has so far ignored us ,taken multiple payments  ,and not delivered ,and was appointed by those who have not given us the urbanisation that we paid for.

                 I have just read your post on the Thalassa Community Forum ,and it is very similar to a post that I put onto the Spanish Forum regarding verification for security,sorry if I went off on a tangent ,just a break-down in communication because of your choice of words .I just would be so unhappy if Keymare have access to our private forum,especially while we so many are unhappy with their ploy.
                                                I realise that you want to get it right and fair.
