We just got back from 10 days in our apartment., our third visit since we completed in December. We loved it! Yes, the lift's don't work, but walking up the stairs to our penthouse kept us fit! The view is fantastic, the gardens are well tended to and look great, we saw gardeners at least twice a week. We had a swim in the pool which is kept clean. The area around the entrance gate seems to be tarted up. The staircases and landings and the garages could do with some cleaning, but we are sure this will be sorted as soon as the Management Company gets going. Sadly the first thing people will see when they approach the development are the two unfinished blocks (22 and 23) which don't look as if they will be completed in a hurry. But once you are through the gates, you are in a peaceful oasis. We have met quite a few other owners now and everybody agreed that La Hacienda is a great place.
And on the bridge front there seem to be some positive developments, too. According to Carolina the bridge will definitely be built. The very wealthy owners of Los Flamingos the other side of the hill together with Benahavis Town Hall are putting up the money. And even better news - they are also paying for an exit to the toll road just a little further along from the bridge. So fingers crossed we may get our toll road exit after all!
Hope to see some more of you next time we are out there.
