I sympathise with you on this one. I do however, see that the solicitor's you refer to have in fact replied to your message, albeit on another thread.
I too have had serious trouble trying to get my solicitor to earn his money, but to little avail. He is useless!. As a result, I currently have no solicitor on my case (much the same as when I paid the first guy) and really it's no big deal. When the time comes to take action, I certainly won't be using my guy and by all accounts, I suggest that you don't throw good money after bad in the hope that your guy's will give you any better service than you are currently getting.
In general, solicitors give you their best attention only for the 10 minute spell you are with them, then it's the next clients turn. It's impossible to get one that is dedicated to your needs as and when you need them. Which is exactly what you are paying for!
