Good news in Spain!

Techno, how cute is Rosie!!  She's beautiful!  And I'm sure she'll just love her new home!  Maybe we'll meet up on the campo!!

This is a pic of our girl, Saffy - she was a rescue dog who we adopted in Dubai and she came out to Spain with us (although, at the price, she was lucky to travel first class!!).

Her life in Spain is MUCH better than in Dubai, as we really couldn't take her anywhere with us there - she wasn't allowed on the beach or in the parks and, basically, nowhere!  She loves Spain (as we do!) as she comes to lunch with us on the paseo, goes to the market with us, and she even jumped out of the car and ran into our son's class in school once (have no idea how she found out where to go but she obviously 'sniffed' him out!!).

She just loves it, loves it, loves it too here! 

It's not quite Good news in Spain, but it will be good news to some in Spain.

I suppose it could have been posted on the bad news thread depending on your opinion.

Liverpool FC have officially appointed Roy Hodgson as thier new manager.

Not quite as cute as Rosie!!

Redsam, I take it from your post (and name) that you're a Liverpool fan. What a relief, I was afraid you supported an different team who play in red - phew

On another note, I have had some good news today,looks like my Birth Certificate is almore here!! Not counting any chickens yet though!

Just watching Homes From Hell.....looks like Dubia is competing with Spain for ripping people off. with holiday homes

I am sure that I'm not the only one to have their fingers crossed for you!  I will ignore the comment about Reds (I support Sunderland who are red & white and John - for his sins - is a Man Utd supporter!)

Another trivial comment about living in Spain.  Tonight we met a couple of friends for some wine & tapas in town, sitting outside as we had our dogs with us. Our dog Lisa was a bit nervous as it was VERY noisy because it is the beginning of San Fermin, so we had to move to a different bar, where luckily there were plenty of tables and chairs outside, and it was further away from the festivities.  A lovely evening, with many local people stopping to chat to us, and still very warm when we strolled back home just before nine. It is only the beginning of July and we will be able to enjoy many other evenings like this until well into September.  What's not to like?

I think we should be on the football supporters thread instead, but as some of you Liverpool Supporters and your new manager are in need of a history lesson regarding who is Englands most successful club then I feel that I am the one who must enlighten you.

Liverpool; 18 league titles; 8 FA cups; 4 European Cups, 1 Champions League.

Man Utd;  18 league titles; 12 FA cups; 1 European Cup; 2 Champions Leagues; 2 World Club Championships.

Note; I have not included the minor Carling Cup even though we have won it for the past 2 years or the Eufa Cup as we have never finished low enough to qualify for it, so minor trivial trophies dont count.

As anyone with a knowledge of the game can see and despite the obvious bias against Man Utd by a lot of frankly jealous people, it is obvious that Utds overall record is far superior and more successful than Liverpools. It must be worrying for Liverpool fans that their new managers knowledge of general football matters is so fundamentally flawed! lets hope he turns out to be an English Rafa.

how about we ignore the boring people who go ON AND ON trying to cause issues. If you really have problems with Spanish authorities,banks,developers then take it out on them and not the rest of us as its getting really old and tired. Many of us have problems and come on here for some light relief, please can you all stop this petty,immature stupidity and aim at whoever actually deserves it.

I have had some of out neighbour's in Spain complaining how hot it is but know they are only joking, saying it is to hot to do anything, that sounds good to me no housework. 

Yes Vilprano I think it was you  could stay in our place but it is only a 2 bed 2 bath apartment but very nice.
