Poedoe, please understand, the Non Resident owner’s tax is paid at a fixed rate for a property. one owner r more (it is usually the catastral value X 1.1% X 24% ----- This maybe 24.75% or 25% this year) .
If the property has more than one owner on the Escritura, then that original sum is divided equally between the owners. Thus the same amount is paid , never more. I.E. if it is 200 euros, with 2 owners, then each pays 100 euros. The lawyer will charge for each person, as it is a different form, for each. So double lawyer's fee, not tax.
My son and his wife on their holiday home pay 228.76 €, that is 114.,38 €, EACH;
Having a joint account has no bearing whatsoever.
