Christmas EOS dinner

Justin asked in the last newsletter on having a Christmas dinner for those members interested. I vote for yes and suggest a wonderful place: Club de Golf Alcaidesa. I know the manager there and is a great guy who will be pleased to prepare a nice environment for us. And a nice price too...

Plane tockets  are not expensive lately. If you chose a date  ( when plane fares are in your favour) we can start running.

Xmas dinner at my Daughter's in the UK this year - yeah, no cooking for me at last!

When you get told to arrive at 12.30 for dinner at one, you turn up at 1.30 for dinner at two!

Preferably half cut so you can't help anyway!

There seems to be quite a few of us out around New Year, so it would be great to have a get together for Christmas, New Year or Tres Reyes.

I mean, it doesn't have to be on 'the day' of what ever event we get together for!

What about 26th in December, Friday?

We will arrive on the 27th, we have not booked flight yet though. We can meet up at any time as we will be available and ready to make friends. How exciting, cannot wait!

Hi Linda Hart & Martin Lonsdale here. We are coming to La Duquessa to our apartment 21/12 to 30/12/08.

Should there be something sorted out for a christmas meal then we may be in for this, dependent on location and dates.    

 Nati: 2nd in January would be a possibility then.... do we set that date and see who joins? At Alcaidesa Golf House?

that sounds smashing! We have no car but I think David, my husband, has mentioned there is a bus that stops in Alcaidesa. I will double check with him or he can confirm when he sees this message.

Hi Maria,

I would love to join you for Christmas lunch, I need to visit my lawyer in Murcia about a development that I am having problems with (it would be good to talk to you about this!) I would make my arrangements around the date of the Christmas lunch as it would be great to meet you all.

Please could you confirm the date and address as I have been on the website of the golf club and they seem to have various locations and I will fy in to the nearest airport and maybe stay at the Golf Club and then travel to Murcia.

As a matter of interest how many people are coming to the lunch?

Ana, I'm not 100% sure, but I think the bus to La Linea stops at Alcaidesa.  If there's a few of us going from Manilva/Duquesa, we could always share taxis...

I actually would need to know on number of people like one week in advance ( let´s say before Christmas day) so I can make a reservation for a table through my friend there.
