Changing Electricity Suppliers

With coming over to Spain soon, I was wondering whether there are any mosquitos around at night? Do I need insect repellant?

Can anyone inform me?

We left last Monday and the mosquitos were out in force (because of the rain in the previous week, I think.  The water pools in the 'dipped' area where the development joins the village).  Fortunately, they seemed to leave me alone but my poor hubby seemed to be the main attraction for them.  I would definitely take some bite spray/cream, etc. and get some citronella candles.  With any luck, the good weather will have improved the situation.

I always take insect repellent now as I got really badly bitten last August & had to go to the medical centre in the village & get a prescription. Apparently it was a female mosquito that had bitten & laid eggs under the skin !!! Yuk - the worse bites I've ever had.

I have found that the Boots own label roll on repellent is really good & I always now take 'After Bite' with me which you can also buy in Boots.
