Hi don't know about meters, but know someone who had a box where the key fob has to be in the place for aircon to be on, which stops the aircon being left on when people go out.  Try PolarAir - Gary on 0034966770749

When I go abroad to a place with mosquitos or biting insects I just detach the electricity card thing from the key and leave it stuck in the wall so that the room remains cool during the day and mossies don't take up residence. If there are biting insects at condado then a lot of people may do the same.
