Hi Mark,
This is an opportunity for those who do not drive or do not wish to drive to visit and stay at Thalassa . It is an economical direct method of getting to and from the Airport, with an additional opportunity to get to know your neighbours. The Thalassa urbanisation has its own website and direct email links via the Rampton 100,therefore it is a secure method for information exchange.
I thought about this when I read another thread ,and a poster was concerned about using a commercial mode of transport because of reliability and communication ,they felt that it would be OK from the Airport ,but going back might be a problem and a concern. The increase in the cost of petrol and the effects of the carbon foot-print all support this .
We for example could probably manage without a car ,with the exception of getting back and to from the Airport,we have our bikes and local buses and most facilities are within walking distance or bus ,it would actually be fun. If someone stated that they had two free seats on the dates that we had booked our flights ,we might decide not to book a hire car,we would then be fitter ,less petrol used ,no car hire fee and better for the enviroment and my bank account, win win situation.
