We stumbled across a nice night out when came out for our viewing trip in 2004. We were stopping at the Trainer Hotel in Lo Pagan, but we decided to have a Chinese. So about 500 metres down the road from the Trainer ( heading towards the beach) is the Hong Kong Chinese Restaurante. We had two meals and a bottle of Wine plus Coffees for about 15 euros!!! The prices have probably gone up by now, but the beef was great, and the Duck was incredible.
We were so full after the meal that we decided to take a walk along the front, and then we went along the path out along the seabreak overlooking the Mar Manor. It was late August and there was a funfair on the front. It was dark, but there are lights along the path. It was about 10:30, and some Spanish were still on the beach. As you walk out, you look out over the lagoon, it is really peaceful, but you have got the backdrop of the lights from the front and the noise of the people along the beach in the background.
It was absolutely great.
We returned from our walk, conscience clear after our exercise, and found a little to have a night cap.
Give it a go when you are at HR, obviously you will have travel back and someone will have to drive, but its worth it!!!!
