inheritance tax

I remember someone posting a thread saying that they swoped their sofa for a sofa bed and that the shop were very helpfull.
could someone tell me who and where the shop was. Did you do the swop before completion, and is it too late to do so after cpmpletion ( as long as the sofa is unused).
How much was the additional charge for the sofa bed

The shop that supplies the furniture is called Eco Muebles. It is in Los Gallardos.

I can't answer your other questions as we bought an extra sofa bed rather than swap the existing sofa.

To get to the shop, you go down to the bottom roundabout & turn right towards Consum. Then just keep going straight across all the roundabouts & the just stay on the main road. After about 16km from the last roundabout you come to a T junction. Turn left & the shop is a couple of hundred yards on the right. 

If you get as far as the motorway roundabout, you have gone too far.

As Noreen says the furniture came from Eco Muebles, but I know that some people have done a deal on safa beds with a shop called "Homes & Beyond" in Garrucha.  It is run by a chap called Paul whom we have always found very helpful.  To get to the shop follow Noreen's instructions until you get to the Borganvillia Roundabout (thats the next one ofter the Puerto Rey Commercial Centre Roundabout) turn left there and head up into Garrucha.  After about 1km at the top of a slight hill you will see a parade of shops up on your right with a slip road leading up to them.  You can't miss Homes and beyond it is about the 2nd shop along the parade.

Homes & Beyond is where we bought our sofa bed.

It wasn't an exact match but very close.

I agree with David that they couldn't have been more helpful & they arranged delivery through our keyholders as we ordered it the day before we returned home.

We completed in November and we actually sold our settee privately and purchased a sofa bed from Eco Meubles.  Afterwards, we were told if the original settee still had the plastic covering, Eco Meubles would  have done an exchange plus approx. 200  euros plus(cannot remember exact amount)   In Eco Meubles there is one girl who speaks good english - you need to speak to her.
