Hi Everyone,
Just to let all of you lnow, walking round our local Wm. Morisson supermarket, they have 'fold-away' bikes on offer at £60. These are boxed up and would be easily taken/sent to Cox.....We don't know if the price is good or dear but we think its reasonable.....oh by the way, they have 6 gears.

Its funny, we only spoke recently about getting a couple of 'fold-away' bikes for Cox as it would be a great option for getting around locally......

Thought we'd share this with you.....

Have fun hopefully see any of you that will be there in September....

Hi James and Sandra

Just sitting here and work and thought I'd check in to see if anyone still at home or whether everyone is out in sunny Espana!  (well doesn't everyone do that in work?!!)

Glad to see you're out in September - hopefully see you then.  We're due out on 15th for 2 weeks, hope we'll catch up with you again then.

Re bikes - we took two folders out last visit.  They've not even come out of their boxes yet.  We were so busy between Alan's party and getting jobs done that we didn't have time to enjoy ourselves!   Anyway, hopefully next time we'll unpack them and maybe have a tour of the area.  Looking forward to trying to get a bit fitter too.

Take care of the weight of the bikes as, like us, you'll probably be carrying them upstairs.    We did a lot of research on the net first before buying as they vary quite a lot.  The cheaper ones are usually heavier.    Also, with my better 'arf being so tall we had to get larger wheels for him.   Some of the bikes have very small wheels and that makes for cycling being a labour of love, as you have to work very hard to cycle just a short distance.   Once you start researching, it's a minefield.    Almost as bad as trying to buy a new mattress which I've been doing this weekend - micro coil or pocket spring; memory foam or latex.  If latex, then water based or synthetic - in the end I think I've ordered a combination of spring, latex and memory foam, but it will be so thick that I won't be able to get sheets to fit it!  LOL    Why is life never simple eh?

Hope you're both keeping well.
