surely not, how could there be more items missing here than at Casares Del Sol.

There everything was missing, including one of the pools.

People repainting the outside and re-plastering the inside to try and keep the damp out. Searching for the missing square metres in amongst the community spaces etc. etc. and evermore etc.

As we have already agreed, there is absolutely nothing that any number of committees can do about it.

Yet Nigie has posted satisfaction with this development, so what could possibly be missing? This development must be better.

I note that you own at least one apartment here and the unnamed a couple or more.

That being the case then you both have a clear financial interest to talk up the development and persuade people to complete and start financing the community to make matters as best possible to enhance resale possibilities. Indeed you are no different than all the other investors who only wanted to flip their contracts, the incentive is exactly the same.

However is this best advice for anyone dissatisfied with what is offered compared with what was expected, Is a life of high mortgage payments, high community charges, other municipal charges, insurance and maintenance charges all worthwhile just to occupy a pokey little apartment and listen to your neighbours heavy breathing through the wall drowning out the hum of your 24 hour dehumidifier?

I for one am not sure that it is and I again question the qualifications and position of those giving this advice?

I am also a bit puzzled as to how a "nine bob note" can be 100% genuine?

Lets say that the residents have had their fair share of problems and are working their way through them instead of sitting on the fence picking and posting negatives on developments at will.
As with the developement you have chosen not to complete on there are those that are very satisfied with what they have(some vey good friends) and some that are not but thats the same on almost every development..
Now they didnt put deposits down 400,000 + Euros apartments being a retired person on limited income in the hope that they could spin the contract..
I am very very familiar with this developmeny and indeed you may be near to the truth regarding my owning or previously owning an apartment here however thats of no concern to you.
You come to this tthread with no other motive than to single out an indiividual of who you have no knowledge of and then question why some have welcomed that support.
Now you have no property in Spain and no intention of purchasing in Spain and no interest in this development in past hence or the future.
If you have something to contribute that even starts to relate to fact or could contribute to the future I am sure like on your ex development it would be very welcome.
Now you have run out of support on the thread that you were going to buy and like his development many simply wish to address their problems and move forward with well formed commitees.

I can't see anywhere where I have posted satisfaction. Our apartments are under the contractual square meterage, there are numerous damp issues, the layout has changed to that of the contract, my camper van has a bigger kitchen.!!

However we on Phase 1 have a solid comittee to manage any issues, and I have seen 2 full months of summer rent, and 10+ months of long term rent. I simply HAVE to make it work financially so put a lot of effort into the site.

When you are a holidaymaker, your outlook is completely different than ours as owners, and I am very pleased to say that I know of no-one who has holidayed at Phase 1 and been disappointed.

It's a case of making the best of it - not easy, but the only way to pull through. 
I consider we are luckier than many unfortunate people that have received nothing for their money.

I do hope you are now getting the message that you have outstayed any welcome in the development that you were going to buy.
Now as has been said once again there are those that dont have what was promised and there are many developments and situations far worse than yours
Now drifting through threads trying show everyone that your development is the worst on the Costa del Sol is doing no one any good at all.
Then going on a whitch hunting to find agents to hang out to dry without doing any homework is simply wrong.

just a thought. Those of us trying to get our deposit back (Angel de Miraflores in my case) are keen to back up their case, by pointing out the bad points, and any other issues of as you say ''not getting what we were promised''  Our apartment was over two years late, half the contract size and had no LFO  or BG at the time of completion date, as well as other issues.  Despite the above, (though not all as bad a case as ours) some still completed, because they were advised that due to the dreadful lack of regulation and justice, they would not win their case in court iagainst the developer if they didn't complete.  These people did what they considered was for the best, and are making the best of it.  Obviously for their own peace of mind, rental, re-sale etc, they don.t want to hear people saying what a load of rubbish their development is, or anything else that makes them feel worse about their property.

So, my point is, both sides are just doing what they can, and have both been held to ransom in different ways by an appalling system, which is very much the one to blame. It very much depends on which side of the fence you sit.

Building knowledge from a long working time on various building/construction sites.

Has "clients".

Interested in cheap penthouses at Casares Del Sol.

Owns one property on this development.

Good friends with an unnamed sales/letting/franchise/agent.

Does not wish to see a witch hunt of agents responsible.

Urges all to move on, complete and pay extra community charges.

Are we in fact dealing with a clandestine commercial here and should that not be declared????

In my experience some have changed names, gone bust, re-emerged, changed employment etc. etc. but are all still there and are active in various guises. Furthermore they are using the same old tricks and glossy brochures.

if this development is as described by Nigie then Just Dan has done well to off-load his investment here.

Everyone else should make the best of things but he is off as fast as possible.

Now it depends where your coming from if advice is useful and none of us call it right all of the time.

 I see Just Dan is bored again, nothing else to do but sit on this forum, talking complete rubbish, pi**ing everyone off and then feining hurt trying to get one or two morcels of sympathy. 

What help and advice are you, or have you actually given people....and who are you to give that advice....what , actually, are your experiences.......you never seem to make any sense in what you say.....everything is so cloak and dagger.

Try art or stamp collecting or something. Go out and get a life or maybe just switch the damn computer off.
