Golf course progress

Hi All,

I would like to ask owners who are out in Condado right now, or recentley returned from...........how is the golf course progressing.  Is work actually still taking place on a day-to-day basis?  I heared from PW that thry had actally seeded or turfed some areas, but have seen no evidence of this from peoples pictures.

Hope to recieve some positive responses to this question to cheer me up following another damp & horrible week-end hear in the NE.

On leaving Condado nearly three weeks ago we spotted the sprinklers watering a green area out in the middle of where the golf is planned to go.

as we were on the last minute for leaving we could not stop to take some snaps.

Hope to see some more progress next visit in October

Hi Nick,

We are under the impression that the golf course will be playable summer 2009.  Therefore I would imagine that seeding and planting will have already commenced as it will need plenty of  time to knit together. I believe that the practise area is opening soon, I think.

Hi all, Ive just uploaded 2 pics to the photo section taken last week from the Show Flat terrace in Los Naranjos. A bit of the green stuff showing & lakes established but no where near playable. The rest of the course appears "shaped" but not seeded. Also lakes still to form. Theres also some pics in the Golf Suites photo section showing the course from the Golf Suites/Jardines direction.A lot of work still to do. Hope this helps.

Hi Guys,

When i was out last week I asked about the golf course as I could definately see some green patches, not that I play golf I just want my garden finishing!!!  Anyway aparently the green patches I saw I am told is the final layer of special soil, which also happens to be green, before the grass starts to appear.  There was lots of activity in various places on the course which I suspect is where the greens are going to be.
