Have just returned form Roda, and as our house isn’t furnished yet we stayed in the Costa Narejos Hotel at the far end of Mercadona Square. If my translation is correct, the hotel were advertising a Medieval Market at the Town Hall square in San Javier over the early December festivals - pictures of knights jousting on the ad but not sure what it entails.
The main road in Los Narejos (near Angelos Pizza restaurant) has been decked out in what I would call Christmas lights, but I think they read 'happy festival' so there may be something planned for Los Alcazeres/Los Narejos as well.
Hotel were also advertising a link up with Roda golf that residents at the hotel had reduced green fees, and we have started to see notices around for tour companies advertising day trips, so it seems as though the commercial side of things is picking up generally in the area.
Weather was great, 21-22c during the day, lots of people on the beach and even some in the sea, but Thursday evening was a bit cool, went down to 15c
