Hello Hipodromo Hopefuls
Just to keep you all updated we went to Spain for a few days (11th-13thSept) to see if we could find out any further news. Went to Malaga but they have now moved to a office on an industrial estate which we found by taxi and we saw a guy called Matias Palomo who is dealing with the Hipodromo apartments. He told us they want to complete the site by Mar09 as they are under pressure by the Bank to release phase one. Matias told us they have workmen on another complex in Bendalmenda and as soon as they have finished they will be moving the workforce onto the Hipodromo site to complete phase one. Matias will confirm to me what date this will be as soon as he has received a date from his boss. In the meantime if you want to contact Matias here are his contact details and he does response to emails and phone calls - honest!

The only thing positive I can draw from this is that Aifos still exist.
Lets just hope they are around long enough for those of us pursuing them thru the courts to get some sort of recompense because as far as I can judge there is an almost Zero chance of ever gettinga completed property ouy of them.
If anyone has managed to complete on a property with Aifos this year (or got some money back out of them, via court action) please
let us know !!

Hi All
Has anybody had any luck in 1) getting their money back from Aifos and 2) swapping from the Hipodromo to another site that has been finished and if so did you have to pay more money for your new apartment? If anyone has any new news it would be appreciated.

I doubt anyone will ever get a penny out of Aifos.
We are one of many pursuing them thru the courts to get a refund for a property they have never built.
They are simply thieves.
