You are a touch late !!
But of course better late than never.
all the info u require about aIfos on these various forums on the
Spanish Developers thread and on develoipments like Hacinda Marina,
hipodromo, Cortijo de Torreblanca,
If u move very fast with lawbird u might just get an embargo using
lawbird within 2 to 3 months. even getting an embargo only gives
u preferred creditor status if/when they go belly up. Lawbird can tell you as much as anyone.
My personal opinion is that only the Banks and Major Creditors are propping up
aifos. Can't see much advantage to them in pulling the plug. Legal action I think is only chance
of getting anything back.
If/when Aifos if ever complete properties u have a chance of swapping to them. However don't pay
anything more unelss u can complete immediately.
One does wonder if Aifos going into liquidation would that help to cause a total market crash ?
maybe a way of eventuallty getting cash back off them would be to buy off the receiver(if/when they go bust)
a property (if you can find a completed one with an LFO or get a (reputable)devleoper/builder
to finish it off at a vastly dicounted rate.
How this will all end with Aifos is anyone guess. The current situation may of course meander along
for quite some time yet. What is certain I think is that anything they have not started on without
a buliding licens will never be (as applies to me !!) - certainly not by them.
EOS moderator - what about inviting a Senior Aifos rep to come along anjd give you an interview. It would be nice
to hear them say they are going to refund everyone - some chance !! perhaps they could refer you to a satisfied customer
They must have 1 somewhere !!
