Has anyone actually managed to fit a dining table and chairs in a downstairs Jardin apartment. When we were out in August I was shocked how tiny every room was or should I say 'bijou'. We did measure and put string down to mark out sofa and chair plus a table and four chairs, although think you might have to watch tv through the legs of the table! Last chance to decide as I have to order and pay this week, was hoping for some reassurance. Really don't want to go without but not sure its all going to fit. Sleeps six but can only sit four! Certainly not room for a cat to sit let alone swing!

Hi Chrissurf,
Are you hoping that a bed settee will sleep two, cause I would rethink this dicision, I have a bed settee in the kids playroom at home and it can only sleep one adult with comfort, two smaller children at a push. We are buying a bed settee for our apartment but it will only be for our use, when the kids bring friends with them. Remember you only have one bathroom and six adults getting ready for a night out could take some time. I'd rather have less money and happy renters than more money and unhappy renters. Think about repeat business.

Thanks, I was thinking just for us not renting. There are four of us and the reason we bought the 3 bedroom was so that we can have friends and family over at the same time, but it looks like we'll have to be shoe horned in!

I am going for one of them rattan cube sets that the 4 chairs tuck in right underneath to make a cube, when we are there I will keep it outside to use as garden furniture and dining.

Hi All - We are thinking along the same lines as Dan - Chrissurf, the only photos, or the only person I can remember having a table and chairs in a 3 bed is Tynside - Haven't seen them post for a while - The photos were quite while ago, don't know if anyone else can find them but they are there.

No problem, we have a bed settee as well for the overflow so at some point there will be 8 of us!! Might have to make the children shower by the pool

Hi Chrissurf/Dan
I also have a 3 bedroom and looked at table & chairs. We decided to buy the cube table with 4 chairs and 2 pufs that slot in under the table. We are going to put it outside when we are using the apartment and just bring it back in when we leave, (there is enough room) We are also looking at getting 3 bar stools because we have our sofa in place and there is enough room for them. I have just posted a picture of the table and if you want to look at couch its one of the photo's posted under Sept 16th. Hope this helps!

Hi Chrissurf,
you could if your moved the sofa to the patio doors. Some people have put there couches accross the front of the patio doors to make room for the table & chairs. We wanted to keep it clear so we decided to put the table & chairs outside. It depends whether you have 2 couches or just 1

Did you get your furniture in home style? it looks like the same package that we got but we went with the fabric covered sofa (im still not sure if that was a such a great idea!!) your apartment looks great, well done!
