Completing

Hi Anybody out there?

I am getting pressured to complete this week @ Balcones, please can anybody let me know if they have completed , and also if anybody else is due to complete very soon?

We are supposed to be completing on Friday. That is assuming the development is still standing after the recent storms.

I wonder if Phil and Cath can enlighten us (if you read this)

We will be out there w/c 27th Oct to furnish

I am still looking for an electrician if anyone can help!

We completed at the beginning of September and I was out to get furniture delivered. We're going out again on 15 November.
Didn't hear about the storms. Hope it was noithing too serious?

That's an interesting development. We were hoping to get everything sorted by the end of this month but realistically it looks more like mid novemeber by the time the NIE numbers etc get sorted. Hoping to do some snagging in a couple of weeks.

We are completing this week.
We will be over in Spain the week commencing 27th October sorting out the furniture and snagging.
Don't know if anyone else has done any snagging but when we were out previousley we found that the back wall of our ground floor apartment was not fixed properley and was in danger of falling down on passers by.  Our apartment has the fancy lattice brickwork at the back not the filled in wall.  Mentioned this to Eli so hope that it is now sorted.  If anyone has this type of brickwork on there apartment (we noticed that it as also used on the penthouse aparments) it would be wise just to give your wall a shake just to check it is solid.

What sort of warranty/guarantee do we get?. Listen to me, 3 days from completion and i don't even know the answer to that one!. Don't know what i'm paying these solicitors for!

Hi Everybody,

We've had  a couple of spectacular storms with torrencial rain but as far as we can tell there's no damage.  We've had to have our satelite dish re-aligned, and we had a power cut for a few hour this evening, but apart from that everything seems fine.  Went for a walk to the local market  near the sports centre in Iznalloz  this morning, and saw no signs of any flooding or damage.
We're in a penthouse with the lattice wall, and have just been out on the balcony to give it a good shake and thankfully it's fine, SteBate!!
As far as we know, Woody, the buildings have a 10 year guarantee, but strictly structural - and by the way, we've found you someone to fix your lights - will pm you.

Look forward to seeing you all soon - it's very quiet here at the moment!
