Im sorry
I didnt realise i was such an influence and figurehead for y'all.
The stir fry was cooked by me......in beef strips and white wine, with a bog standard garlic bread.
It was built to an exacting standard, delivered to the table on time, and......................it will satisfy the whole family.
Now.....was there any complaints to my management about this?..........anyone feel hard done by?.................

Sounds ok to me Linda.
When we go to Whitby or Robi Hoods Bay, as we often do........the fish n chip shop/resteraunt, just over the harbour bridge in Whitby.............is a place (plaice?) that will live i your memory forever........when youve been.
Are you talking about Las Ramblas, Barcelona?......i will have to look next time

Well yesterday at Bar Paraiso we both had fish and chips (actually sepia and chips in John's case) for our main course, with salad to begin with and a rice/lentil/veggie dish for the starter, and followed by a quarter of a fresh pineapple (John, being healthy) and tarta chocolate for me. Did I mention the two carafes of vinto tinto, small bottle of la casera, and two coffees at the end of the meal? The bill was 16 euros.
Back to reality today, as we are in rainy London, and we definitely can't afford to go out for lunch here, being impoverished pensioners!
