BLOCK 7 - MANZANA 3 - EXCITED BUT WORRIED

Hi, we've seen lots of threads regarding Block 7, is this in Manzana 3, we are looking forward to completing in March 2009 but are worried about some of the posts concerning the condition on 'Block 7' and the fact that it looks like it's going to fall down or be pulled down.

We are really looking forward to coming out to La Reserva but getting really worried.  Should we get out there before we complete?

Would love to hear from anyone already occupying in Manzana 3 Block 7.  Happy to hear good or bad, really need to know the facts.

BLOCK 7 IS PART OF MANZANA 3 AND WAS ALWAYS THE BLOCK THAT SEEMED TO WORRY MORE PEOPLE REGARDING LICENCES, BUT ALL BLOCKS WERE ON THE NEW LOCAL PLAN AND HOPEFULLY, FINGERS CROSSED, KISS SOME LUCKY HEATHER, AND WITH LOTS OF PRAYERS THE WHOLE THING WILL BE FINALLY APPROVED IN 2009.

AS FOR HOW IT LOOKS, WELL NOT MANY OF THAT BLOCK ARE OCCUPIED YET, SO THAT DOESNT HELP, I DONT THINK THERE IS ANY DANGER OF IT FALLING DOWN. BUT IN THE INTERIOR COURTYARD WHERE THEY HAVE PUT FLOWER BEDS THE EARTH HAS SETTLED AND OR BEEN WASHED AWAY BY RAIN LEAVING SOME EXPOSED UNPAINTED CONCRET. THIS CAN LOOK IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE STRUCTURE BUT I DONT THINK THIS IS THE CASE. I HAVE SPOKEN TO PEOPLE WHO OWN IN THAT BLOCK AND ALSO PEOPLE WHO WERE RENTING IN THE SUMMER AND APART FROM LICENCING SEEM HAPPY WITH THE APARTMENTS

I hope everything works out for you in Block 7. We are in Manzana 3 Block 4. We bought in 2003 and it was completed in May 2006.

We really love La Reserva II and get an uplifting feeling every time we visit. It is a special place. Andy's restaurant and bar and mini-market

have made a big difference to the atmosphere on the development, giving it a new lease of life.

Only 10 minutes' drive from Marbella and a walk away from beautiful Cabopino, it's bound to succeed in the end.
