Weather Warning

With the inclement weather in the UK this weekend in mind........I would just like to issue a weather warning for coastal Costa Blanca this weekend, temperatures will reach a barmy 22c and residents should not go outside without some form of sun-screen applied. Failure to omit said cream could result in dis-colouration of the skin otherwise known as 'tanning'. Please also make sure you are suitably dressed for the weather, sunglasses, shorts and vest-tops again recommended attire.

Should you find yourself in a state of near de-hydration due to the temperature outside, please drop into one of the numerous watering holes, replenish and refresh yourselves with a cold pint of Cana (Estrelle, Mahou or San Miguel recommended).

I had a 'phone call from a friend who is over there at the moment and he said " It;s lovely and warm and I am sitting down by the beach having a nice cool drink. What's the weather like back in blighty?" I bet you can gues what my reply was like! But never mind.

All the best to you, I am off out to check the anti freeze in my car and if it snows, well I can have some fun in my 4wd.

for the people experiencing the usual sunny weather in Spain, i have a footnote from back here in Yorkshire.

I had 3 surveys to carry out yesterday, 2 in Bronby, Lincolnshire, then one on the way home at Holmfirth in West Yorkshire.  Bronby was to view some early 18th century workers cottages ............and Holmfirth (last of the summer wine country you may know it as) a 17th century stone converted property.

The Autmumn colours while driving on my journey took my breath away at times with the low strong sun coming through the trees, coloured in autumns wonderfull gown.  I went home to a lamb stew and a bottle of cider and was made to watch strictly come dancing.....which was good

The landscape as ever in the region is spectacular and inspiring, which is probably why the worlds best selling musicians and poets are from England.

I do like a bit of sun sometimes though............but not all the time thanks

Don't know where you are in yorkshire but where i am there is only one colour on display.

Watching match of the day there was plenty geordies sunbathing at the chelsea game!

Although their suncreen seemed "blue" in colour

I didnt realise you had that much snow...........................I had a flat coat retriever up until 2 years ago, he was big and black and loved the snow.  The only time i knew wher he was at all times was when snow was on the ground......being big and black he had no hiding place at all.  !!
