Hi again mrallen

We are on Manzana 3 & we haven't had a water bill yet either & no debits from our bank account. Next time we email our solicitor we'll ask when we are likely to get charged.

At the moment with the euro rate we don't really want anymore bills !!!!!!!!

Hi All

When we collected our LFO and Electric contract details from Taray they informed us that we would not start paying for the water until early 2009, not sure if anyone else has been told this or not, we have also checked our electric bills on line and  you seem to be billed every 2 months , by the way David and Sue how did the meeting go?

Best Wishes

Julie and Steve

Hi Julie & Steve

The meeting was fairly well attended, but there are some issues re expenditure to investigate.

We have an English President & a Spanish Vice President.

Apparently on Manzana 1 & 2 there are not enough properties completed to enable them to have the meeting yet. That is why you haven't heard anything.

Are you over for New Year ?

Best Wishes

Sue & David

Can anybody out there advise me as to how we can find out our electricity bills.  They obviously cannot be sent to our addresses in San Cayetano because officially we have no postal arrangements - is this still correct?  I have someone renting my house at the moment and would like to sort this out before someone knocks on the door for money.

In the case of the connection for water and electricity they took that out of my bank account without asking permission - did you all experience the same?  This also happened with my property and contents insurance!  Wouldn't like them to start taking electricity bills every two months from my account.  Obviously it is a big holiday in Spain tomorrow (and possibly today) so I will leave asking my bank for an up-to-date statement until later in the week.

In the meantime a HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

Pinot

Hi Pinot

They automatically take the payments out of our bank account every 2 months. If they took out the 178 euros for the meter they would take it out of the same bank account.

We have been to the Post Office in San Javier several times now, but they have never had any post for us. Some people have managed to pick their bills up there.

We have now registered on the Iberdrola site so can view our electricity bills. You need the contract number off the electricity contract (which you will have picked up from Taray with your LFO paperwork etc) & your NIE number to register. It is a strange site as part of it is in English, but then when you register that part of the site has not yet been constructed in English so you have to revert to Spanish & second guess when filling it in. They then email you password, user number etc.

Good Luck

Sue & David

Hi Sue and David,

Many thanks for your prompt reply giving me details of how to access my electricity bills.  I have never received an electricity contract from Taray so will contact Helder to see if he can help on this.  I still find it unbelievable that they can just take monies from your bank account - mind you it is Spain!!

One of my colleagues is Spanish so when I access the Iberdrola site she can help me.

Best wishes for 2009

Pinot
