If you are living near to East Mids or B`ham Airports Ryan air still have FREE flights to Murcia in January. almost no taxes if you only have hand luggage.

Hi Jan
We did see this. We have booked for the beginning of March for a total of £98.16 for both of us return, Birmingham to Murcia. First time I've flew with Ryan air, usually go Monarch.

Hi Cuz.
We too usually fly with Monarch as you can get seats with extra leg room . Have to pay extra £12 per person , But we think its worth it.
When we flew out in June we had almost all of the front of the plane to our selves on both Journeys. Unfortunatly Monarch do not fly from Brum on the January & March dates we want. We will book with Monarch when we go over any time after the 30th March when their flights to Murcia start again,

Hi all,
We've tended to fly Ryanair to Murcia, either from Stansted or Luton. Although the initial fare appears cheap, the final figure bears no resemblance to the advertised price. It still seems to be the cheapest method of getting out there, but worth working through the 'add ons' before you commit. As an example the four of us are looking to fly out next April on an advertised ticket of £5.99 each way. So the 4 tickets come to £48. We're taking one bag (£30), which means we all need to do airport check in (£10 each) , and can't do it online because one of us will have a bag. With taxes etc, the final bill is £307!! Still not bad for 4 people but wildly different from the £5.99 advertised. I guess we could save £30 by booking the other 3 people separately online!!

Hi
Just thoughy this might be worth mentioning.
Our neibours have an apartment in Hacienda & always fly by the cheapest reliable airline .
Only carry hand luggage & always pay for flight journy`s seperate. Out ward in uk £`s and back in euros.
Unfortunatly with the current money ratio there is very little difference , but still woth looking at. & yes always pay seperatly if one or more is taking a suit case against those with just hand luggage.

Have just booked flights for myself and the missus flying from Durham Tees Valley to Alicante from 12/5/09 til 28/5/09 on the Ryanair site, free flights, taxes only, total cost £101.
Taking hand luggage only and paid for using my Banco Halifax Visa Electron card (exchange rate 1.09 Total cost in Euros 110 ) But no card charges !!! and IF the Euro /Sterling rate improves could bring the cost to under £100. Dead Chuffed.
