El Trampolin conned me

4 years ago I paid El Trampolin nearly 200,000 euros for a villa. To this day I never got one - they sold it to someone else - and they have refused to give me my money back even though I have successfully taken them to court twice. Can anyone advise what I can do next. My solicitor seems powerless to retrieve the money.

Hi Nick Nock Nick ... not too sure who you are but my attention was drawn to your post by two other Solera residents. The first question is "DID YOU GIVE THEM PERMISSON TO SELL THE VILLA" ... I am assuming the answer is "NO" and if that is indeed the case then Trampolin Solera and rafael (he is the sole legal Director of the company) are guilty of a Criminal offence which in Spanish Law becomes very serious which unless rectified will result in "imprisonment". I had exactly the same problem with my Plot ... 82 ... which was sold to a Mr and Mrs Philips. I was waiting to complete once the outstanding Mortgage had been cleared only to be advised by a friend that someone had moved in. Let me be absolutely honest with you. It wasn't me personally that lost the money. It was a very good friend of mine who is 77 years old and didnt want his name mentioned in case of any repocussions. I am doing a little digging on his behalf as he fears that he will be dead before he sees another penny from El trampolin. The truth of the matter is that he has successfully taken El tramoplin to court and won. They were given 2 months to pay him his money back - and of course they didnt. So they went to court a second time - and won again, and placed an embargo on 2 of their properties or so we are told,  but still no money has been paid. This is where it becomes very cloudy. I do not know anything about spanish law but do they not have baliffs that can cease assets or something? the lawer he is using over there is Maria Genistar. Do you know her or can you advise what he can do next?

Look ... it is very difficult me to advise you on what can be done and I am certainly NOT to keen to do so "in the open" so as to speak on this forum ... hence giving you my telephone number. Trampoln have more embrgo's placed gainst them them than there are Smarties in a box  ... I too have embargos and they are of questionble value. All I can tell you is that in Spain to take money for and sell the same property twice is a serious criminal offence which if left uncorrected will result in imprisonment for the offender ... they CANNOT hide behind the protection of a limited Company. I can only tell you that IF your friend DID NOT ask them to sell the property for him then they have committed fraud ... end of story!. Regards
