Hi all
I've been informed by the chap who keeps an eye on my place that the builders electric has been switched off. What is the quickest way to get connected to the main supply - I have had no contact from Iberdrola so sent them an email today in English, so not sure if they will action it.
Any advice would be great as I'm heading out in a few weeks and don't fancy spending them in the dark with warm beer!!

Hi Anthony,
I suggest you contact the Polaris office. I had an email from them recently asking for my keys/keyholder details, as the meters were being fitted in Jardine 13 - fortunately I was out there, so could let the guys in. The Polaris office should be able to advise what you need to do. Good Luck.

thans gents. I'll get on the phone the customer services in the morning. I'm out with some friends for golf at the start of May so all being well I'll get it sorted long before then.

We're on Jardine 11 and have been advised by our keyholder that we are still not connected to the main supply. To make matters worse Polaris with their usual caring attitude are cutting the builders supply off on Monday.This is irrespective as to whether Iberola have connected us and several other properties .
We're flying out next Wednesday so now in panic mode, as Polaris are shut from Wednesday so we can't even throttle them when we get there.

Hi there,
Anyone know the latest for Jardine 13? We too arrive this Weds and up til last week were advised by pw that it was still builders supply. Also, how long are Polaris closed for ?

We are waiting to hear from our keyholder to find out what is happening with Iberdrola and the electricity supply. A meeting is taking place at 9am this morning and until that is over I won't know anything.
They are on holiday Thursday and Friday at the very least I know that for sure. Supermarkets and everything closes!
You will need to chase it today because the spanish are very slow at doing anything. We are still waiting for our snagging to be done despite the fact that we completed in June! Also, we have been informed that there is a large patch of damp on a bedroom wall too. Therefore we are very stressed!!
By the way, we have already been cut off so you may find that there isn't any electricity. ......

We have had word this morning that Polaris have agreed to keep the builders supply of electricity on the properties until Iberdrola come and fit the meters next week. Our electricity has been reconnected - we know that because our keyholder has checked.
However, I would not trust them to keep their word and I am waiting for confirmation of this via email from the Polaris Office as I have had another contradicting email saying our meter is going to be connected tomorrow! So watch this space....
Confused.... you will be!

Oh! I knew there was something else...
Supermarkets are going to be open we believe Thursday, Saturday and Monday for limited times. Our keyholder is going to put a posting on the forum later to tell us the times that they are open. That way we can actually eat and drink even if we have no electricity... maybe not, eh? I think I'm getting a bit hysterical now
