Hose size and fittings in Spain

Hi we have a ground floor apt in jardine 3 .  There is an outside tap does anyone no the diameter of the hose we need and if we are able to buy the fittings in the uk to hook it up to the outside tap. Many thanks for your help Dave & Dawn

Hi Taps are same as standard UK outside taps with screw thread, which is the same as most UK & Spanish hosepipe fitting. I bought a coil spring type hosepipe for our 2-bed apartment, which is neat & tidy, and reaches all over the roof Solarium and even down to the balcony outside the front door. Got it from Carrfour when they had them on offer can’t remember how much though but not expensive, Leroy Merlin sell them also.

we took a standard hose from B and Q and it fines fine, both by  the female screw type, also the hose alone will fit by taking off the male screw  end on the tap, if required to do so? thats on the upstairs on naranjos, but i would imagine they are all the same?
