We have just got back from Condado Wednesday and were happy to see the progress being made for ourselves.

It rained heavily for three days which was great news for the course and the grass in the gardens which in some cases was a bit brown.

The pool is a bit cold at this time of year and will turn men into women.

Out and about for those who like to see whats around try a visit to the Sierra Espuna from Totana up to Aledo (stunning)

The Faro is progressing well and looks like it will be a great place to socialise.

The Surgery is doing well considering the prices and the happy Herbert behind the bar.

We will look forward to returning in the not to distant future.

Anyone got list of places to visit please post or PM us with the same. (already got the places to eat out  list thanks)

Also the directions recently posted from San Javier to Condado and back were perfect, very easy to follow thanks whoever first compiled them.

I have good news (for me) we got back at the weekend then it was my birthday!

Had a great week over there - stayed at Mar Menor but had to drag Rog and the boys away from the golf courses.  They managed three times to escape me and really enjoyed themselves.    I had surprised them all by arranging a clean at the apartment and had the white good delivered and installed, An awning fitted and a rooftop sofa set.    I also had Ikea Steve get the beds and chests and build them.  I though I had done really well but didn't realise just how much else was needed.  I was like a race to get everything.

Hired bikes for the week from Terry and Jill and that proved to be a great hit with the teenagers.  The could go off and explore - I had a go too, it's amazing how quick the Spanish workmen got out of the way when they saw me wobbling along at them.

Looking forward to next time when we can stay at our own apartment.

We fly out tomorrow for 11 days and the sun is shining in Murcia, so we hope it stays that way. We own a fantastic property in a fantastic resort even if it isn’t complete yet, what is there is still fantastic. Within no time at all we can be on the beech, in the city or in the mountains what more could we ask for, o yes cold beer and wine unless its red wine of course. Life is good.

Those things use a rude amount of water so as long as they get the environmental stuff properly sorted that is excellent news. A real fun facillity/attraction for residents and visitors to CDA. Definitely another string to our bow.

The £'s on the up. Air con fitted friday, furniture ordered and awaiting delivery. Flights booked for july. For us the good news just keeps coming! Can't wait to get out there are start making our apartment a home!

Yes, it is good news. We have a regular amount transferred to our Spanish bank account each month, and at the end of June we'll be 90 pounds better off than we were in March. That's the price of a good few drinks in the Clover Bar!!
