Huma - Busy Phonelines - Pili gone

Has anyone managed to contact Huma by phone or e-mail, we have been trying to ring but message says phone lines are busy please hold, held for 15 mins no luck. E-mails are no longer being answered. Also a friend of ours is over in Spain now, drove down from San Miguel for us to see what is happening, they have reported that Pili is no longer there and no one would give any info regarding the OTCC site, they pretended to be interested purchasers.

I spoke to Carmen by phone yesterday - she was on site at OTCC. I asked her for information about when the new builders would be starting and she told me there was a meeting at the HUMA offices at MCC yesterday. I have today received an e-mail from her which just says she is at OTCC Monday to Friday and will e-mail me when she has more information. She did say that most people were on Easter hols until yesterday.

Phew, that must be why the phonelines were blocked yesterday, we will try later today to contact them. Our friends said that the offices were like a ghost town, they wandered around before someone came to assist. We can only assume that Pili had enough and moved on, not surprised really. We just pannicked yesterday when we couldn't contact them. It's good news that the site is now manned, when we went out in late February there was just a notice on the door.

I actually got through to Claudia, Tuesday afternoon after being on hold for 2 days ,she told me that work wouldnt be starting for at least 2 - 3 weeks. She also said that she would email me as soon as they have a date to start ! 

We received an e-mail from Claudia yesterday, I have posted it on the other thread, it's been misread by one but it basically says that she will know more in one & half month (so 6 weeks then), god knows this is going on and on..... In 8 weeks or so our contract with them expires, but no bank guarantee we can only wonder what is going to happen. There is obviously no chance of any money back, so does that mean we will have to wait forever............

I pass on my little piece of information to you all , I recieved info from Carmen on the 15th APRIL 09 that HUMA  have made arranagements with a Builder 'AGLOMERADO LOS SERRANO ' who  will be starting soon on site.   Adding this to your information  should hopefully mean that they should be on site by the end of MAY 09 .     Like you I will have to wait and see if this happens .  I will pass any other info  I recieve
