PW Owners discount cards

Can anyone tell me when or how you get your owners discount card.

Do you mean the old free card, which they are no longer issuing apparently or the new card, which you will have to pay for, if the latter is the case click on the thread I have posted below or cut and paste it into your address bar for more information. If you still have questions about it ask in that thread.

I got a response today from PW re the €125  card.  They called to tell me it is perfectly legitimate and operating with their full support.  I will probably get one around August time.  As the others have said the hotel deal alone is well worth the cost.  Am happier to part with the cash now the details of the deal have been corroborated by PW.

For all the "Proud" owners of the old Free card does anyone know if they are still valid?

Someone on one of the threads said they used theirs last week and others say they were refused!  Who knows?

Maybe we should start our own club "The Old Freebie Card Club"      Friends of Polaris World....

We used the old card in the surgery last week without a problem but haven't tried it for food lately.

We are trying to work out whether it will be worthwhile getting the new card but there are 4 of us as I don't think the kids would appreciate being left at home while we go out for a meal.  Does that mean for each meal the card owner will get a meal at a 50% discount while the other 3 pay full price?

We'll probably make the decision after our visit in July when the Foro is up and running so any feedback in the meantime would be appreciated.

After throwing a wobbly and being told the old discount card was not being offered any more, i have come home tonight to a message saying mine is ready to pick up at PW HQ

Phil I will check the names of contacts when I get in office in the morning, I told them they was at fault because they lost my original application & would not use any of their facilities if they didn't reconcisider, of course it was the first time I had sent the application but hey ho, 2 can play at that game this was only about 2 weeks ago as well !
