Anyone completed without a solicitor and found the experience pain free. Grateful for any information.

yes-myself and 3 other friends who also bought seperately without mortgages didnt use a solicitor on my advice.we saved a fortune and got a refund from the polaris completion fee.if you have a mortgage the bank will appoint one for you.what does a solicitor do?the searches-well they have been done.anything else-no!the polaris guys will translate the escritura(deed) and the and the bank manager signs off the polaris mortgage in front of you.but its up to you.good luck.

 i agree with george,we also completed without a solicitor, pain free, polaris gave us a translater for the notary and she was very good and helpful, saved us a few quid also,

We also did the title deed without a solicitors,Polaris did a great job with translation.

Everything was going corectly and the guy from the bank came to undo the mortage

So we have saved a lot of money

we did not yet received the different of the ammount back

with did the title deed in November
