Just got back - Wish I was still there

Rather be on Condado in the sun with the various minor problems, then here in the dull 'woe is us' UK, ah well only 13 years and counting till retirement, Condado will at least be 50% finished by then

Heads a bit burnt, barbers cut my hair too short, done the will, done the tax return stuff, signed the mortgage docs (that'll be the mortgage they gave me last July !!!!!), got the missing cq bk cancelled, requested copy of deeds (no-one quite sure where they are), then the bloody bank card failed in Brico (had failed in Consum in Feb as well), went back to Bank and it was shut, but worked in cash till - job for May then, got the parasol base, got the sun loungers but gave up putting em together as you needed 4 hands so just lay on the cushions that came with em, another job for May, and once again the list I had made on the last day had more things on it than the one i went out with...........

So 4 weeks till next flying visit, can't wait, already started the 5-bar gates

4 Years, 4 Months, 3 Days.  unless I win the lotto.  But who's counting. .

How did you know it was me that posted that???  It could have been Martyn.  You can celebrate with him when the time comes, he says he is retiring in 4 years and 11 days.  He could do now, but we wouldn't have any money.  Lifes a bitch. lol

just 3 weeks for us,(holiday not retirement) still got 25 years for that, if i can hang on that long, the stress of  "i want to be there every week" is killing me, youngest sons got 2 years till he's 16 and they are out and me and mam are OFFSKI 

Yeh! I remember Martyn saying that to ours, they are now 19 and 21 still here and costing more.

I made a mistake, it's 3 weeks and counting ...................

The list is growing again, think it might stay that size for sometime, it's still smaller than my UK 2do list.

My lad was 16 in Dec, house was in fairly good condition this time when i returned apart from the fact i made tea tonight using what was left on the kitchen surfaces from his 5 days on his own, bit like when he used to come home frm school and i'd work out what he'd had for dinner from the residues on his shirt and tie

Mine are nearly 23 & 25 both left home, I've got 7 years & 7 months and counting David got longer cos he's got private pension  but said if he behaves himself he can finish same time as me and I'll keep him till he gets his pension, must be mad.

First visit tomorow in nearly 2 years can't wait.
