Golf prices/discounts

Hi,

I have previously seen a thread that detailed pricing and discounts offered by local courses but am unable to find it, anyone help?

This is the link to the current Polaris course offers;

After 3pm - €30 per round at La Torre, El Valle and Hacienda Requelme - think Buggy is also 1/2 price at €15 - definately required at hacienda!

Mar Menor €35 for 18 holes (only 9 hole course at the moment)

Here are a couple of links for discounted golf that I use for our golf trips. They discount all courses in the Murcia region including the Polaris ones and it can all be done by email or phone.

I'm just back and my other half was asking how much a round was at Camposol's golf courses.  Anyone got any ideas or a link for more information.

My hubby played Camposol when we were out in March.Round was 40 euros but if you join their Golf Association,you get round for 30euros.

Can' t remember but I think it was 30 euros to join but if you plan to play there several times over the year,this is a better option.

Just a quick note about Camposol golf. My wife and myself joined their association for 10 euros each. Great value. Mixed Monday, Ladies Tuesday, Mens Wednesday/Thursday. 30 euro green fee and then only 2/3 euro to play in competition. You can also play any other day you like for 30 euro. A good  friendly bunch.

That's an interesting tip from Munster.  I wish that I'd known about the association last week when I played there.  They weren't exactly forthcoming with deals at the reception desk. 

We usually walk the Polaris courses - including Hacienda de Requelme, but I would strongly recommend that you take a buggy for CampoSol.  There are some steep climbs and the heat is beginning to build at this time of year.

We thought that it was an interesting course for first time players there, with a few blind shots - particularly the 12th - (I think) and the local members were friendly and helpful.

One last tip.  We were asked for our handicap certs. so you might want to have one with you.

Glad to hear my tips about Camposol were helpful. If you are staying for a month, 3 months or 6 months you  can join the golf club for various ammount. If you intend staying around for more than 1 month, its the way to go. If you join the golf club, I think its about 270 euro for a couple  for 1 month, all it will cost you is 5 euro every time you play, so if you play even twice a week each, you save a lot of money. Check in the pro shop for details.         

Also I think we all need to have a meeting to discuss the cost of golf when our    own course opens to try and get better deals than they are offering in the other courses at the monent.
