Sunday shopping

Hi

Going out in July and wondered if shops and bars, etc are open on Sundays. We are looking to explore the area and go to places such as Mazzaron, Cartegena, etc and don't want to get there and find they are all shut...!

 Hi Phil, I'm afraid you will find that Puerto De Mazarron and Mazarron etc., are not keen on keeping stores open after 9pm and on Sundays. There is a big store on the way into Puerto De Mazarron from Condado on the right, beside the shops with the car park with the shelters for the cars (sorry can't remember the name) but it's the only local one open on Sundays and I can be sure it's closed at 9pm at the latest. I'm sure Cartagena has big stores open, but that's 45mins drive from Condado. Bars are open as normal.... Have a great trip. Geoff.

Geoff is right.Most shops are closed on a Sunday even Ikea at Murcia.Carrefour and all the big DIY stores in Cartagena are also closed Sundays.

Restaurants and bars are open so you'll be able to chill out and hit the shops Monday!!!
