Air Conditionng

Can anyone recommend suppliers for air conditioning or any offers which are about at the moment?

We used www.Climazone.net.

There were an extremely professional company and I organised it all from home (Ireland). They were very informative and gave a number of different options (they explained the importance of different size compressors, inverter units versus normal etc etc!).

I had no problems at all, they did a very neat job and even sent photos to my email of the installation when it was completed. They were the same price as most of the companies I have seen around Condado. I did get one or two slightly cheaper quotes but they were from 'one man operations'. These companies probably do a good job, but just make sure the company is operating long term (and not just set up for condado and gone next year!) and have a service department to satisfy warranty demands.

Gary from Polarair has fitted the majority of the aircon units on Condado and I don't think there has been a bad word said about him or his work, just can't think of the top of my head his contact details but I am sure someone will provide them for you shortly as he is a very popular guy.

The web site for Garry at  polarair costablanca is www.polaraircostablanca.com I don’t know if he has done most on CdA but he has certainly done lots of them, I also don’t know of any dissatisfied customers. I am certainly happy to recommend him and his neat and tidy workmanship and keen pricing, If you are not sure what the best system for you he will give you good advice relevant to your needs.

We used ILUCOM lighting shop at Alcazares next to Polaris World garden centre(info@ilucom.com) to install our aircon units and also recessed lighting in our apartment and lighting outside.

We have also booked them to install an extractor fan for the bathroom when we are out in August.  We have found them to be reasonable and very efficient.

Reitterating what has already been said numerous times, Gary at Polar air did a great job at a reasonable price, clean, polite and unlike most tradesman, on time!  Have friends on the site and he is an aircon installer,  he went with Gary, that should be reason enough.

I used chill out costa blanca.  They were cheaper than Gary at Polarair and did a great job.  I had lots of issues with the pre-install but they spoke to Polaris and got these resolved.  They have also done lots of units on Condado.
