I emailed Polaris asking the same question last week, they said they didnt know, which I find hard to believe, considering it opens in 1 months time.
I have read elsewhere that there will be a supermarket, 2 bars and 2 restaurants, when the Foro open, 1 of the Bars should be a clover bar.
Anybody else know any more?

We have a friend who has a house on Lanzarote. He was out there last week and said how quiet it was. In fact many bars and restaurants there are closing. So I suppose we should be grateful that the Foro is opening with two bars and two resaurants. Let's hope the prices are realistic.

Went in Foro on Tuesday. Clover bar already fitted and some booths around. Saw a delivery van unloading stacks of white plastic chairs and other shop items but dont know where the have put them.
Clover is next to back entrance (to left), supermarket has wallboarding all around and is from front entrance to left end of building.
Area around pool looks fully tiled now.
Many plants around car park, palms, banana, olives and some more of those mysterious flags which surroung the golf course. Should be able to turf surrounds shortly as water pipework is going in and spotlights in borders to light up trees.

FYI
Jill & Terry's website (condadodealhamaservices) shows even more up to date photos of the Foro and it does look on track! We are out from July 4th and really hope the prices are reasonable so we are able to spend our hard earned cash supporting Polaris and the Foro!
Cheers!
PS - does anyone know what the immediate plans are for the current supermarket in Jardine 6?

Hello all
Out last week again over the weekend, first time for a month. I'm absolutely amazed how quickly the guys work. As previously mentioned by others, the place changes daily. I originally thought we were getting a prison block but the added features of trees and new stone wall on top of decorative mouldings are beautiful. So very pleased to have chosen here instead of La Torre or Mar Menor. Interesting comment already made is that we MUST support it to make it better and survive. Obviously Polaris must give us competitive pricing but really excited!!!. On a final note, I hope the Irish clover bar is not decorated with English rowing club insignia a la mar menor and La Torre. Always makes me chuckle who's idea that one was. Look forward to seeing you all.

Darren - How did you get on with your PW card? It really would be great value for money if we constantly get 2 for 1 on meals in the Foro. I am sure we would be more likely to support it that way. It really pays for itself if you use the free night at the Intercontinental hotels on offer at La Torre and Mar Menor so anything else is a bonus I suppose. Did you use it for dining as well as your hotel stay?
