Restaurant in the hills?

Hi

I seem to remember being told that there was a restaurant in the mountains which had been a monastery.  Did I dream this or can anyone give me info and directions?

Hi there

We stayed in this place when we did our signing - it is a truly stunning building in a stunning location. Its the Santa Eulalia monastery. We had a few surreal experiences there ....

We ate in the restaurant which was - wait for it - 10 euro for a 3 course meal !! 26 euro including a bottle of wine - I thought we were in a time warp! Then when I went to the bar for a couple of drinks after I gave him the smallest note I had - 50 euro. The barman took one look,  waved his hand and said 'es ok'. I couldnt believe it. Then finally when we were checking out I told them that we had taken a few drinks out of the fridge in the room - 2 beers & 2 soft drinks (feeling guilty after the freebies the night before!). The receptionist thought about it for a minute and said '2 euro' !! I'm definitely going back for the laugh if nothing else. The rooms were nice too - might be worth staying there for a night & getting hammered for nothing !!
