Flies

Anybody know when and if the fly spraying is going to happen? or is it another cut-back??!!

I did read a note posted on the entrance gate where the guard sits that they intend to fly over the Resort in a light aircraft and spray an insecticide, should have happened on Monday at about 7.30am! As to wether it did or it didn't happen, not sure!

Don't seem to be as many about at the moment!

They did spray the golf course to try to get rid of the flies. Unsuccessfully I feel, if the number of flies that were still around at the end of last week, was anything to go by !!

Stalone's kiosk was working well and seemed to be very popular with owners as well as site workers.

Hotel coming on well and work due to complete in September.  Unlikely to open before December as need time for staff training etc.

Shame about the flies.Surely they cannot have a situation like this .I have heard that prospective buyers are being shown around again,they can't have them bombarded by flies.Good news about the Kiosk it's just great to be able to say something is happening in the village at long last.Do you think that the Hotel will open as the last we heard was that Melia had pulled out.

Anything going on in the clubhouse?Is it opening in the evenings?

Had lunch at the Kiosk yesterday, a few people were there including some site workers. Aparently the day before had been very busy most of the day and they are now opening at night. Very nice to be sitting have a drink in the Pueblo. They are hoping to do papers soon.

Heard that the racecourse is now closed. Hallelujah!!!

Have to say I haven't been bothered by too many flies so far.

Weather is brilliant sunshine most days around 35 degs.

one answer to flies is to fit mosi screens many spanish houses have them fitted. There is a blog all about them it might be worth a look
